Eduardo Santoyo Vasquez is a prominent figure in infrastructure finance in Mexico, with over 30 years of experiencee across diverse subsectors like transportation, social infrastructure, telecommunications, water, oil and gas and energy. He co-founded and led for 10 years Fondo Capital Infraestructura, an infrastructure fund listed on the mexican stock exchange, managing to fully commit its resources of MXN$3.5 billion by 2022. From 2017 to 2024, Santoyo served on Grupo Financiero Interacciones / Grupo Financiero Banorte’s central credit committee, playing a critical role in over 275 infrastructure financing cases totaling more than MXN$205 billion.  His career includes significant contributions to the development, structuring, evaluation, financing and operation of Mexico’s infrastructure, where he managed major financing deals amounting to billions of dollars.  Prior to his role at Fondo Capital Infraestructura, Santoyo held key positions at Arendal, América Móvil and diverse banks. He holds an BA from ITAM and an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management, supplemented by studies at Harvard and London Business School. His contributions to infrastructure finance were honored in 1994 with the National Finance Award by the Mexican Institute of Finance Executives.
